Haryana State Counseling Society, a department of technical education, has been created to implement transparent and uniform policies for admission to various Diploma & Degree institutes and complete the admission processes in a time bound manner.
The society is the nodal agency for carrying out online paperless admissions to various AICTE approved technical courses in Haryana. It would also carry out detailed statistical analysis of the applicants and admitted students.
It conducts on-line admission to MCA, B- Pharmacy, BHM and CT and lateral entry to BE/B.Tech, B-Pharmacy in third semester. B.E./ B-Tech and MBA admissions are made on the interse-merit in which AIEEE for B.E./B-Tech conducted by CBSC and MAT by AIMA.

Counseling becomes a cakewalk for students Last year the students had to make tedious trips to various institutes and universities for counseling, due to which students of poor family from different town, cities and state were unable to attend the counseling. Many difficulties were also faced by institution and departments. |

To conduct transparent, refresher and mentoring for the benefit of all students and rural students in particular, to prescribe rules and regulations for the admissions of students to the various All India Council for Technical Education approved in this behalf by the state and other relevant apex bodies and to hold examinations / Admissions tests and declare results, conduct counseling and admissions. |

Haryana government has constituted Haryana State Counselling Society in its department of technical education for implementation of transparent and uniform policies for admission and complete the admission processs in a time bound manner.
The society is self sustaining and meets its expenses through counseling fees or examination fees. The society counducts entrance test,if any,for making admission and conducts online counseling for various admissions.The society is the nodal agency for carrying out online paperless admissions to various AICTE approved technical courses in Haryana. It would also carry out detailed statistical analysis of of the applicants and admitted students. It conducts on-line admission to MCA, B- Pharmacy,BHM and CT and lateral entry to BE/B.Tech/B-Pharmacy in third semester. Where as admission to BE/ B.Tech/ B.Arch. programmes shall be made on the interse-merit and of AIEEE to be consucted by the CBSE and for MBA course on the merit of highest score obtained by a candidate in MAT conducted by AIMA. |

| SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS |
The Haryana State Counseling Society has been created by the Govt. vide notification as a single window agency for making admissions in AICTE approved Technical Courses and promotion of Technical Education in the State. One of the laudable objectives of the Society is to make provision for Scholarships/Freeships for students pursuing Diploma/ Degree/Masters and Doctorate programmes in these Courses in the State of Haryana for attracting talent in Technical Education and to add to the teaching and research pool covering M. Tech. & Ph.D. programmes. |

| SCHOLARSHIPS AND RESERVATIONS: |
HSCS has been created by the govt vide notification as a single window agency for making admissions in All India Counsil of Technical Education approved Technical courses and promotion of Technical Education in the state.
One of the laudable objectives of the society is to make provision for scholarships / freeships for students of Haryana pursuing Diploma/ Degree/ Master and Doctorate programmes in these courses in the state of Haryana for attracting talent in technical education and to add to the teaching and research pool covering M-tech and Ph. D programmes.
Students who belongs to scheduled caste are allowed not to pay tution fees during admission and also given the reservations for admission according to residents and caste i.e. AIC=15%, HOGC=85%, SC=20%, BC=27%, Girls=25% and ESM=3% So, that, in the field of education poor caste students will not remain backward. |

- Online registration for students.
- Providing information regarding various courses.
- Payment of counseling fee and token fee by different modes, e.g. online payment gateway, e-slips, m-slips, ecash coupons.
- Seat allotment, etc.
